5K Sign Up, Junior Meeting Ahead This Week

See ya later, April, and how do ya do, May?!

The last full month of spring is upon us and hopefully it will be filled with less lightning strikes and power outages than April had. Check out what’s on top this week!

You Need to Register for a 5K: The 7th Annual West Morris Central Track and Field Club’s Memorial 5K is set for Sunday, May 19, and registration is now open for the event. Cost is $25 per participant with proceeds going toward memorial scholarship funds at the school. Find out more here.

You Need Some Green Market: Every Thursday through the end of the year will play host to Long Valley’s Green Market at 20 Schooley’s Mountain Road. The market, open this Thursday, is also looking to expand its base and add more vendors and entertainment. Find out more here.

You Need Some Juniors: The Long Valley Junior Women’s Club will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, May 1 at 7 p.m. at the Schooley’s Mountain Firehouse. The juniors welcome new members and coordinate many town events, like this one.
