Fencers Seek Titles, Time to Turn The Clocks

The weekend has finally arrived in Long Valley and despite a wet week, there are still a few goings on to note in town. Here’s a list of local and regional events we published Thursday. So here are a few things you should know.

You Need to Save The Planet: The Washington Township Recycling Center is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Please keep bundles under 25 lbs. for the safety of the personnel.

You Need to Get Lax: The boys varsity lacrosse team will travel to Montclair High School for a scrimmage at 2 p.m. on Saturday. The regular season gets underway in just a few weeks. Go support the team!

You Need to Get Fenced In: Members of the West Morris Central boys and girls fencing teams will head to Montgomery High School to compete in individual matches at 10 a.m. on Sunday, March 13. Support those competitors in their final performance of the year!

You Need to Get Stuff Done Early: The will close at 12:30 p.m. Friday, March 11. If you need to take care of some township-related business, time is short as the weekend nears.
