Preschoolers Help Those in Need for Holiday
Long Valley Christian Nursery School students and their families donate goods to local food pantries.
The families of Long Valley Christian Nursery School joined together to quickly collect food for local food pantries before the Thanksgiving Holiday.
The children presented the food to Pastor Peter Froehlke during their Thanksgiving Chapel. Pastor Peter explained to the children the meaning of "giving thanks" during Thanksgiving.
Church members of Zion Lutheran Church will delivered the donations to food pantries last weekend. Although this is an annual event for the school, it became even more meaningful with so much devastation in New Jersey from Hurricane Sandy.
