Fundraiser for Jack Gumersell brings in $4K.

Whoa. Now that was a week of news. The first few days of May were filled with world news and hyper-local events that affected Washington Township in a variety of ways. So, in case you missed something, here’s a recap.

On Tuesday, Splash Seafood and Pasta at Restaurant Village opened its doors to host a fundraiser for Jack Gumersell, the 3-year-old who had emergency brain surgery after falling from a second floor window. The Washington Township Recreation Committee also met this week, and we learned that new field lights will be installed this year at Palmer Park.
