Week in Review: We Say Goodbye to July

Another week flies by in Long Valley.

Well, the weather was much more bearable this past week than the week before, and that’s always a good thing. There was plenty of news to report on, as usual, and for a full plate of our offerings, go here. Otherwise, take a look at some of the noteworthy stories from Long Valley this week.

The week began with a look at what officials and public employees in Washington Township think of the new legislation on benefits reform in New Jersey, and how it may or may not affect them. To see the details, .

On the sports front, it was a busy week in Long Valley. First, we had a story about a track camp for youth runners at West Morris Central. To see what they learned, . We also found out the 10U and 12U Long Valley Baseball teams captured titles at the Flemington Tournament. To see the 10U team, , and for the 12U team, . And as the week came to an end, we learned that the Mt. Morris 15U American Legion kept the winning consistent.
