Candidates Lance, Larsen to Debate Twice Before Primary Election

Republicans will square off for third time in four years to represent New Jersey Congressional District 7.

With the Primary Election little more than a month away, races are heating up. That goes for a locally contested that has national implications.

Congressman Leonard Lance, R-07, is running for re-election this year and is being challenged by David Larsen. If that sounds familiar, well, that’s because it is.

The two Republicans have faced off twice in the past, with Lance winning in 2010 and 2012. The seventh congressional district represents dozens of towns across multiple counties, including Washington Township.
