As the neighborly committee to help raise funds for a local family continues to find avenues to benefit a teen stricken with brain cancer, one event has been stepped up a notch, and taking a lucky family to Florida.
Multiple fundraisers in Long Valley have been held to support . From dinner events to bake sales and outdoor concerts, more than $135,000 has been donated to the Lightner family as they seek alternative medicinal treatment abroad.

Tickets for the raffle cost $25, with all proceeds benefitting the Lightner family. The winner is able to redeem the free stay between November 2012 and April 2013.
