Cops: Man Was Intoxicated, Stumbling in Parking Lot

The following arrest information was supplied by the Washington Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Washington Township man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance after he was found stumbling through a parking lot in Hastings Square on Friday, June 10, Washington Township Police Lt. Mark Niemynski.

Robert B. Jennings, 29, was found disoriented and stumbling in a parking lot after a report was made to police, Niemynski said. Cpl. James Burns arrived and determined Jennings was under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, Niemynski said. Jennings also had an outstanding no-bail warrant issued by the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office for third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance, Niemynski said.

Jennings was taken into custody and turned over to sheriff’s detectives for further processing, Niemynski said.
