Cops: Overdue Inspection Ends in Warrant Arrest

An Andover man was arrested and charged with contempt of court Monday morning after stopped him on Schooley’s Mountain Road, Lt. Doug Compton said.

Cpl. Brian Bigham pulled over Stephen Andorko, 42, in the area of Schooley’s Mountain Road and Fairview Avenue just before 9 a.m., Compton said.

Bigham learned Andorko had an active traffic warrant out of Rockaway Borough Municipal Court in the amount of $500 and arrested the Warren County resident, Compton said.

Andorko posted his bail in cash and was released, Compton said. The driver was issued a motor vehicle summons for failure to inspect.
