Cops: Shoplifter Had Drug Paraphernalia

The following information was provided by the Washington Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Warren County woman was arrested for shoplifting and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia at the Target department store, Lt. Mark Niemynski said.

Officers John Lee and Susan Gilligan responded to the Washington Township store after a report of a suspected shoplifter just after 1 p.m. on Dec. 31, Niemynski said.

There they found Sarah Zamorsky, 38, to have just over $700 worth of stolen merchandise, Niemynski said. Upon further investigation, the officers found prescription medications and drug paraphernalia, Niemynski said.

Zamorsky was arrested and charged with shoplifting, possession of prescription medication, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
