Cops: Shoplifter Hit Target 6 Times in October

The following arrest information was supplied by the Washington Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Washington Township police say a Hackettstown man shoplifted $1,600 in goods from the Target department store on at least six separate occasions in the month of October.

Joshua Oswald , police said.

A follow-up investigation led by Det. Cpl. Lucas Allen, in conjunction with Target security employees, found Oswald had stolen items several other times, Washington Township Police Lt. Mark Niemynski said.

Some of the stolen merchandise was recovered through the investigation, Niemynski said. Oswald was charged with shoplifting and released with a court date.
