Second crash in nine days occurs in same location.
Another head-on collision on Schooley’s Mountain snarled traffic this week, happening in the same area a crash occurred at the end of May that left one person in critical condition, police said.
Washington Township Police responded to the area of 63 Schooley’s Mountain Road at 10:34 a.m. Thursday morning for the report of a head-on collision, Lt. Mark Niemynski said.
The vehicles were driven by Viktor Kovalev of Great Meadows and William Lounsbury of Bangor, Pennsylvania, Niemynski said. Both suffered minor injuries and declined medical attention.
