Old, New and 'Green' Join to Celebrate 275 Years

Green Festival and Family Fun Day set for Saturday, Aug. 17 to honor township's history.

Two hundred and seventy-five years later and Washington Township is still going strong.

And this year local committees and organizations have been doing everything in their power to make it a fun time to celebrate the great history the municipality has to offer.

So on Saturday, Aug. 17, the new and old will come together and honor the nearly three centuries that have passed the town by with the second annual Green Festival. This time, however, there will be a family fun day involved.
