Twp. Dems Bid Farewell to Party Representative

, the Democratic candidate for Washington Township Committee in 2010, is moving with his family to China in August, and was given a fond farewell by his friends recently.

The Washington Township Democratic Committee held a going away party for Rich Welch on June 26 to thank him for his outstanding representation of the community as the Democratic candidate for Township Committee in the 2010 election, garnering approximately 40% of the vote. 

Mr. Welch and his family are preparing to move to China.  The party was held at , a new local business that provides business facilities–copying, fax, WiFi, conference rooms–for professionals working at home. 

“We specifically held it at CoWorking LV because commitment to our local businesses is a key component of the Democratic platform,” said Joe Keyes, Democratic Candidate for Township Committee.  “We can't be a healthy community without healthy small businesses.” 

CoWorking LV is at 20 Schooley's Mountain Road, the old Ed & Mike's Secondhand Shop.
