Opposition to Proposed Law Amendments on Washington Twp. Agenda

Presentation regarding grant on committee's agenda.

The Washington Township Committee is scheduled to meet for its monthly work session Wednesday, Feb. 13, and there are a handful of discussions on the agenda.

Among those topics are resolutions that would oppose two amendments to standing ordinances.

The first is a resolution opposing changes to worker’s compensation details, with the second opposing an amendment to the Open Public Meetings Act.

The governing body will also discuss township employee summer hours changes and hear a presentation from Terry McKeon of Special Homes of New Jersey regarding a grant application.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Washington Township Municipal Building and is open to the public. Residents are encouraged to attend.
