Warm Up at Washington Twp. Library, Officials Say

Bitter cold stretch hits northern New Jersey with temperatures below zero.

The Washington Township Library can be used as a warming and charging center for residents during a bitter cold stretch that has hit the area.

An Office of Emergency Management Nixle alert sent out Tuesday afternoon said residents were welcomed to use the facility as a warming and charging station for electronics during normal hours.

Those hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. The library is located at 37 East Springtown Road.
