Central LAX Shuts Out Middletown North in Playoff Opener Win

Boys team will host No. 7 seed Morristown Tuesday.

The West Morris Central boys lacrosse team made quick work of its NJSIAA state tournament first round opponent over the weekend, dispensing Middletown North by a score of 17-0.

According to nj.com, the No. 2 seed Wolfpack was led by Jeremy Angle with four goals and an assist, followed by Matt Carfaro with three goals and two assists.

Central scored all 17 points in the first half and will now face off against the No. 7 seed Morristown Colonials Tuesday at home. Morristown beat Millburn 8-2 in the first round.

The winner will face the winner of No. 3 Scotch Plains against No. 11 Randolph on Thursday.
