You Need a Football Clinic: Sure, it’s only July, but preparing for the biggest sport of the fall is a year-round venture. The West Morris Central Wolfpack coaching staff is hosting a week-long football clinic for players in grades K-8. If your gridiron star needs a refresher or could learn a few new tactics, check out the clinic. .

You Need a Music Festival: While it’s not exactly in your neighborhood, the 16th Annual Black Potatoe Music Festival kicks off on Thursday, July 12 in Clinton and is open to everyone. Tickets are $30 and the festival lasts four days.

You Need a Green Festival: The first-ever Washington Township Green Festival will take place 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 14 at Rock Spring Park. The festival invites exhibitors to showcase ideas on how to reduce, reuse and recycle, along with kids’ educational programs, live music and documentary films. You Need Some Orchestra: The Cab Calloway Orchestra will be filling the Centenary College stage with some zoot suit and big-band music on Saturday, July 14 at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale for $20 to $30.
