Long Valley Man Dies After Jet Ski Collision With Brother

Matthew Barther and his brother, Patrick, collided in the Barnegat Bay last weekend while reading jet skis, according to police. Matthew was rushed to the hospital after the crash but pronounced dead later in the evening. He was 24.

Man Assaulted, Bloodied Victim at Long Valley Farm, Cops Say

A strange occurrence at Willow Grove Farm marred a sunny afternoon recently, when one man allegedly assaulted a Long Valley resident, leaving him bloodied. The assailant turned himself in, police said.

15 Cars Burglarized in Long Valley Monday Morning

Unlocked cars on East and West Mill Roads, North Washington Valley Road, and Middley Valley Road were all entered and had money or goods taken in the middle of the night, Washington Township police reported. There is currently no suspect.
